Basically incontinence is when your pelvic floor muscles are weak or don't work properly, leading to a weak bladder and sometimes leaking of urine or the loss of regular control of the bowels.

Recently I have discovered that I have urinary stress incontinence which is a weak bladder due to laughing, coughing, sneezing or other types of stress. I didn't even realise was a medical condition until I found something about it on the internet, before I just thought I was weird and stupid for not having control over my bladder, especially when I laughed or found something extremely funny.

Many web sites associate incontinence with older women, and hardly mention statistics of young men and women so I wanted to know how many others have had or presently had incontinence of any kind. Please help and take the poll.

    Thank you x
