Pirate. The answer is always Pirate.

Or simpler costume, stick a pie to your crotch and you're Jason Biggs in American Pie...

    Go as a director?

The guy from psycho who dresses like his mum (v.easy to pull off- you just have to look like a man in drag). Norman Bates I think his name is.

    Something Harry Potter related

    Derek Zoolander?

    How about....

    Captain Jack Sparrow
    The Joker
    The Crow
    Harry Potter
    a Terminator
    Spiderman.
Or maybe just stick on a cowboy outfit and then you are someone out of a western.

    ...
Agreed. Really simple, and you can say you're one of many pirate characters - anyone from Pirates of the Caribbean springs to mind, but there's also that pirate guy from dodgeball.

Ooh, I just had another idea lol. A cheap and easy but quite cool one would be to go as a Blues Brother. Just wear a suit, a hat and some shades
