On UCAS, when entering details of the course I wish to apply for I have to select an 'entry point'. These can be entry point 1,2 or 3. Could some explain what this means to me? Is it a means of selecting whether you want to start in September, October or November etc.?

I'm pretty sure it's the year you're going into, for example if you skip first year you pick entry point 2, if you've already done part of the course somewhere else you might pick point 2 or 3. In most cases you should just pick entry point 1, i.e. you're going into your first year of uni
