I got a Wickes interview for a part-time kitchen and bathroom sales assistant. Its a sales driven position. Does anybody work there already and what can I expect in the interview.

    Congrats on the interview!

Although I don't work there I would expect the interview to be similar to other jobs:

They ask why you want the post, maybe why you're the right person for the job.
Perhaps what you can offer and what you expect from the post.
Maybe give an example of a situation you might be in and ask how you would respond. These are usually awkward customer/problem solving situations.

I would advise you to think about what the job entails in detail and and perhaps think of some questions to ask them to show interest

They may give you a product and ask you to sell it to them-likely given there is an emphasis on sales.

They don't ask you to sell them anything. I worked for Wickes for 3 years, for some of that time as an SRA and I totally loved it. Just relax and be yourself, its a very relaxed atmosphere. Have a look at the sticky at the top of the forum, it will tell you the sort of questions you might be asked. Its nothing out of the ordinary.
