When I use an exercise bike at home, you can switch to different settings, such as revs per minute, speed, and calories used.

At the end of the 10 or 15 minutes I've been on, it says I've burnt something like 80 kcal. Is that actually true and accurate?

Hmm, depends how vigorously you were riding. When I do 10-15 minutes, mine says more like 200...

No. It's neither true nor accurate.

If you can enter your age and weight it'll be a more accurate reading but if not, it's pre-programmed nonsense really.

When I do an hour the machine says I burn 600cals. Dont have a ******* clue if its true/accurate or even matters in the slightest.
