Basically I'm going to cinemas with several friends to watch bruno tomorrow and some of my mates are not 18 yet and don't even look it! How do you propose I get them into the movie theatre?

Buy the tickets for them, and hope whoever checks them later isn't too bothered.

Get them to put on false beards.

I would let the facial hair grow for a couple of days, don the non kid clothes, get my passport just incase (to flash at them) and go in there with a beer in my hand? :p:

Dunno, never had that problem :awesome:

Except at Game, where i always go in my school uniform :facepalm2:

Buy tickets for a PG film and sneak into Bruno. You'll be okay, so long as they don't have people on the doors to the individuals screenings.

That's probably the best way. Failing that, get the under-18s to buy a ticket for a different film and then they can just sneak into the other theatre after a bit.

there is an edited version thats a 15, there is only about 1 minute 50 seconds less of the film. they seem to be more strict about bruno in comparison to other filmswith regards to checking id from what ive heard, depends on the cinema though i suppose.

Try and go for another film which starts at a similar time and is (if you can find out) in a similar area to the screen Bruno is showing in. Show the tickets then just walk into the Bruno screen room.

    Simples.

Just behave totally normally. Obviously they could make a bit more of an effort to look 18, but honestly, I think they're more likely to spot OTT trying to look 18+ behaviour than babyfaces.

I've never really had the looking too young problem ...i think i saw Moulin Rouge when i was about 10 and it was a 12. And I looked younger!

A lot of it depends on the staff at the cinema. Like the cinema in the Gate in Newcastle never asks for Student ID, but the Metrocentre ask every time.

Having read the title, I'm disappointed that this thread isn't about kickstarting a career in the adult entertainment industry. Maybe just how my mind understood it.

To the thread title, rather than the contents of the first post.

Been over 18 for thirteen years now, and this sort of thing hasn't been a problem for fifteen years really.

As to what I 'used' to do when I was 16-17, etc... Balls of steel and sideburns...

Some of my mates when 16 stood outside the cinema for ~15 mins, pretending to smoke, then came inside and bought the tickets.

or maybe that was when they were 14 trying to get into a 15.... not sure...
