I'm probably the only student on here that doesn't wish to go on to University haha, anyway ... I want to take a career in Travel and have always wanted to be a holiday rep. I'm a year 13 (just!), and will be completing my exams in June/July time. I want to be able to apply for travel jobs ASAP. Do you think it would be possible to apply for Summer 2010, considering I'll have exams.

Upon seeing the thread title, I thought this was somebody complaining about how their TSR rep was going to waste whilst they were on holiday, and perhaps proposing some sort of system to remedy this, whereby the recipient of a day's reputation could be chosen in advance.
    Obviously not though

Probably not. I really want to get into holiday repping for two or three years after uni too and have been looking into it a fair bit recently I think you start to apply for jobs around Christmas time (November-December, I think) and then you begin the training around Feb and go out to the country around April. I'm not too sure though..So yeah, it's not like going just for the Summer months or anything. You'd be best off trying to get some experience (you need exp in customer service or sales or something) and apply for Summer 2011

    Hope that helps!
