Im not really sure about eye contact, I tent to give people a second of eye contact every few seconds or if its an important point to let them know im listening but tendt o look at their right ear or somewhere else, but obviously not looking around the room as im speaking to someone, I feel a bit uncomfortable giving some people eye contact as i feel its too direct, I dunno im weird like that, it doesnt feel right staring into someones eyes while you talk to them :|

It's persistence more than anything that is a bit annoying/creepy.

If you feel obliged to hand over a pound to someone after finally managing to look away from them (as I did) then its probably gone too far...

I have to admit I'm probably not the best at keeping eye contact with a person speaking to me, usually I pick a point and stare off into it if they are looking right at me but otherwise I will focus on something else/that I am doing.

Though I'm trying to keep eye contact more especially when being spoken too.
