Just wondering whether I would need a pure Economics degree or if my Economics of Money, Banking & Finance degree would suffice?
They would require that at least half of the degree is in economics. You know, you can always switch to a BA Economics when at NTU. So not all is lost.

Let the people do their own research - I feel sometimes you are too kind. A simple google of the big 4 would have brought all those links up.

So when you switch your course at a University do you have to repeat the first year again to catch up on all the work?

A lot of universities have a common first year, so you shouldn't need to. In any case, you could always switch within the first two weeks of arriving.
