    ...during the day?

Off the top of my head I can think of:

    Aquarium
    Body Worlds Exhibition
    Dungeons
    Madame Tussaud's
    Natural History Museum
    Science Museum
    Theatre
    Tower of London

Anything else that people have done and enjoyed?

    The Victoria and Albert Museum.
The Imperial War Museum (if you're THAT bored...).

Most of the galleries merit visiting more than once. (The Whitechapel doesn't. Frankly, it doesn't even merit visiting once unless you want to gasp in wonderment and dismay at what passes as art these days.)
