We all know that King's College is one of the top colleges in the world. But looking at the subject rankings, Computer dept is not ranked as high. One of the reasons behind this is that it is a fairly new dept.

My question is: Are there any other reasons that make the CS dept inferior to other unis? How do employers take this?
What about the faculty, are they not as good as the tutors in Law, Arts etc? Does King's not have great facilities for computers?

I have recieved an offer from King's for MSc in Advcd Software Engg and from Southampton for MSc in Software Engg.

Overall uni reputation of King's is higher.
But Dept ranking of Southampton is high (4th in the UK).

    What do u guys think??
