Poll: do you have incontinence? (urinary or bowel) watch

Hi, I am 18 and basically I have recently discovered from a medical book that I have Urinary Stress Incontinence. Urinary incontinence is when the pelvic floor muscles are weak which causes frequent urination fromt he bladder and sometimes leaking. Stress incontinence is when these symptoms occur due to coughing, sneezing laughing or other types of stress.

I didn't have a clue that my stress incontinence was a medical condition until recently: before I learned this I was so ashamed and thought I was being weird and stupid for leaking, especially when I found something really funny or laughed very hard. It made me feel depressed and alone.

I have looked on some websites, most of which seem to associate incontinence with older people, but I wanted to know more statistics about the younger generation. Please help and answer the poll, and please take this seriously.

    Thanks x

What poll? And no, I do not.

I'm like the energizer bunny, I just keep going and going

    I don't. No poll.

im 19, im not necessarily incontinent 100% of the time, but i find it very hard to hold in urine as long as i used too when younger, i have very good pelvic floors (according to my nurse) personally i think it may be age..but probably isn't...
