We could have gone to SGUL together. :nn:

    :getmecoat:
London Bridge was just oh so irresistible. :coma:

Love how close-knit and bubbly SGUL is though. You'll love it there, I'm sure.

Oh. We still have the minor issue of grades.

I think my mum gets that much or thereabouts for being a midwife :/

Methinks she must be grossly underpaid...or you must be grossly overpaid? :p:
That was a particularly good haul.

Normally things are £7.00 - £10.00 an hour depending on day of week and difficulty in dodging work.

Technically we aren't allowed to accept tips in cash.

    Food on the other hand...

ooh can i work there ? :teeth:
Hmm, by the time you will come to UK, I will bolt it and run for my life, so maybe you can :p: But seriously, they are rather short of staff, so its possible :ninja:
Its a great irony, that my mum can't pass her IELTS test to become a doctor even though she has a valid diploma, but I would probably pass it with flying colours but don't even have a chance of getting a diploma atm

Has anyone else seen The Taking of Pelham 123 yet?
Nah, decided to give it a swerve as the third remake of something is invariably not good. Plus it was directed by Scott, who was a really poor choice - all explosions and no tension.

In better news, Inglourious Basterds comes out this week! Everyone, go and watch it. :awesome:

    :yy:

    Sounds sweet.

I ******* love Wembley. :coma: Do you live in London yourself? What's your favourite part?

Mine's got to be London Bridge. :coma: The deicious French markets on Saturday mornings and the hustle and bustle at night along the river is to die for. :yum:
It was pretty amazing. Plus Elbow were supporting them, who were also incredible. All for £30, not bad hey?

Sadly I don't live in London. Maybe some day, but last week I was just a tourist. I would say my favourite area has to be Southbank, that was so cool with the BFI (Watched Monty Python there :p:), NT, Globe, Tate et al.

Or Carnaby Street. That was pretty darned good.

Why do the only do these stories at this time of year?
Public interest, innit. Nobody cares about it except for two weeks around results day, so that's when all the hacks get to spout their bitter vitriol to an impressionable audience.

I suppose, doesn't mean I have to be happy about it though.

I wonder whether we will get any mistakes live ala this on results day:

Makes me laugh but I feel so mean
