They have pretty interesting takes on a Birmingham accent.

It's the most soulless boring accent ever. No matter what is said in it, it will never sound interesting or sexy. Thankfully, I can temper the amount of it in my accent, so I don't sound too bad. :p: But as my normal accent simply resembles that of a street-corner waif, I don't have too much to be proud of.

The irish accent is the coolest. :awesome:
    Me too :five:

My cousin is really sick- rash on her lower body, high temperature, restlessness, lack of appetite, and we don't even know what to do. My gran (she is a doctor) thinks its an allergic reaction towrds raspberries we gave her on wednesday, but I think it might be some kind of infection (possibly chcke pox) , as we gave her antihistamines but no result
as she is a doctor and I'm not even a med student I trust her judgement, but its distresing to see the poor girl cry
P.S This sounds like a start to a thread, but I thought a medical forum is th best place to get an advise from?

A&E is probably the only option.

Ask the other med thread, you might get more help, but you'll probably just get more sarcasm.

Well it's not going to really, who don't want to go to hospital?
They should go to hospital, if it's an allergy who knows what would happen, and otherwise it's not a good idea to leave it, it could be anything and could be contageous.

I go into town to get some clothes.
Instead I decide I disliked all of the clothes I looked at and then went and bought 2 books instead

    :sigh:
I hate clothes shopping, books are much better

Birmingham decliners survey through the post today. Anyone else get one??

Am I the only person who thinks number 12, as a reason for declining Birmingham, is ridiculous:

"because I had an offer from Oxford or Cambridge"

I will be filling in the extra boxes anyway.

I had one form PMS there equvalent one was for more self deprecating:

Because I have an offer from any other med school

I liked PMS though would have been less work as an insurance than soton :grumble:

    From us? :lolwut:

If she is as sick as you described surely it's obvious she requires some form of medical treatment (excluding the reems23 interwebs service). I fail to see how asking some (frankly clueless) A Level-ers and first year medics on an online forum could help.

Sorry if it came of as sarcastic but it's a bit of a no brainer tbh :p:

    Anyway....I hope she's ok.
