Not a big fan of heels, platforms, etc, maybe because my height's ok by my standards. But the dead ones were awesome- comfortable as slippers.
Oh, well, more reasons to go shopping
hmm, yeah well shoes are lovely.

If we got caught, we could say it was raising money for a good cause- our medical education.

Robbing from the rich to train people to save lives and all that.
    We'd never get caught.

Well, sounds like we have a term-time job. :teeth:

    (Original post by crazyferret)
    I haven't got mine yet.

Surely they must wonder why roughly 50% of the people they give offers to don't choose them :p:
My favourite line from Birmingham was "There are 4 places you can choose to go to. Therefore every medical school should have a 25% chance of being accepted. However, Birmingham is much better than that. When we make an offer, 50% of people accept it. So we are one of the very top Medical schools". :toofunny:

Actually, there were a couple. I also liked "People say not to apply to both Cambridge and Oxford, but if you want to then I can't see the problem." :erm:

    (Original post by Jessaay!)
I like shopping for guys, it's so much fun. With girls, they always know what they like/don't like and it takes us ages, but guys are clueless so I drag them round :teeth:
I got dragged around a Topshop when I went to Oxford. My entire input of that trip was "erm...yeah" repeated several times. :p:

Yesss!!!! I have read most of his work, apart from Men at Arms, Moving Pictures and Going Postal
My absolute fave is the Witches and Watch series-Granny Weatherwax and Sam Vimes rock
Men at Arms and Going Postal are some of his best. :teeth: I like any of the ones with the Ankh-Morpork Times in - like the Truth, Monstrous Regiment etc., he writes them so brilliantly.

Monstrous regiment was quite poignant, and I liked the feminist edge :teeth:
