    I watched a comedy thing today about "foreign accent syndrome" when after operations patients wake up with a different accent. The gullible side of me can't quite work out whether it's true or not...:o:

    Apparently its a real condition where 30,000 people get it every year :zomg:

    Nope, but I saw awake brain surgery a few months ago, that was cool. :cool:

    lol fair enough. They were very cool, I agree :yy: During one of my placements, I shadowed a surgeon performing a hip replacement op whilst the patient was awake and talking (local anaesthetic). Had a lovely conversation with her :p:
