Wheres Jonny and Iso these days?
I've posted like twice in the past five days, but I got ignored both times. To be honest this thread just seems like a bizarre nightmare currently.

    How have you been?

Yay! I made chocolate orange cookies yesterday. Unfortunately I was so tired from work that I read all the quantities wrong, but they turned out quite nice anyway :p:
I'm going to make cranberry and poppy seed muffins soon, with home grown cranberries :coma:

Ahha, The man himself. I know what you mean, its like a ridiculous chat room thread in here at the moment! And to be honest I didn't actually see any of your posts, accept my apologies.

Not too bad thanks, I'm pretty much sorted for uni now, with the exception of a mini fridge if I decide to get one :holmes: Yourself?

Is it so simple even I (who can't make beans on toast unless it's microwaveable beans) could make it?

Did I ignore a post by you? If so I do apologise  It's insanely hard to keep up with this thread when posts appear in such large blocks after being away for a few hours

    But calves are cute
Actually, I can be a doctor and milk cows at my leisure :p: But then, I need to marry a vet so he can look after the said cows, plus he has to be rich to be able to afford the whole country house thing :p:
Ohhh, I *so* want the country house thing. I've just watched the whole series of Brideshead Revisited on DVD - the Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews one I think it a quirk of fate that I was born into a crappy area and somewhere there is a country house with my coat of arms on the gate :fatcontroller: I could live without the cows but wouldn't mind some geese, sheep and perhaps the odd peacock :yep:

I made the point a little while ago that I hadn't looked at this thread for 2 days and since that time it had grown by 780 posts! Which is simply ridiculous.

Hmmm, I'm feeling a little bit pensive at the moment. It feels quite monumental that in a month everything in my life is going to change quite dramatically, and it's also a little scary at the same time. It feels like I'm at the very ending of one chapter in my life and all of a sudden, having wanted nothing more for the last two years than to move on to better things, I'm not sure I want to now. I'm also feeling a bit nervous about the whole affair as well. :p:

Heck, there's so much stuff I need to sort out that I don't know where to begin. So far all I have sorted out is my bedding and my lovely shiny new laptop, which I still need to sort out with programs and the like ready for Uni. So it's going to be a hectic month, on top of all the farewells that will be taking place.

    Sowee
I know what you mean about the whole looking forward to it for two years, but now it's sinking in thing. I think it's just natural though, anyone who went into medicine without any worries or doubts would be crazy!
I'm mostly worried about a) people automatically judging me because I sound southern and b) not being able to do medicine.

Not yet, but soon, real soon.

Yeah, I actually remember quoting you in one of them. I then proceeded to cry myself to sleep when you gave me no answer.

It was something to do with films I think. It's been a good week film-wise - firstly I saw Funny People which is really quite brilliant (for the most part), and then I got Scarface for £3 from Tesco, which is like the best deal ever. :coma: I'm in a pickle over what to watch tonight though; United 93 on ITV or Lucky Number Slevin on 4? Both excellent films in their own right, they shouldn't force you to choose!

    What's been happening with you?

I feel exactly the same - I have no real expectations as its all a new experience - so im all a bit apprehensive.

Where im going, half the medics will be living together on a different campus, and half mixed in with sussex uni students. Im the latter half - and my worry will be that the other half will become quite clique-y. It'll be interesting - just nervous about the first month or so before it all settles down.

Cant wait to not be bored 24/7 though :woo:
