    Up there with Krypton Factor.
Was great, loved the assault course round. Weird to think the presenter is now the newsreader on North West Tonight, seems quite an odd change.

"The Christmas specials were to cater for a younger audience, and often featured teams of children, playing adapted versions of some of the more difficult puzzles (to make them easier), or easy puzzles devised and made specifically for those shows (which were not used in the main series)."

Does anyone remember this EPIC program? I saw it today for the first time in yonks, and remember thinking how much I wanted to appear on it, and still do! It's a shame they stopped making it in 1995.
It doesn't prevent me from finding the set it was filmed on and breaking into it...
Yes, I remember it. I always wanted to be Rickard O'Brien... in fact, I still play the harmonica sometimes, because of the fond memories I have of watching him.

I thought that that Edward Tudor-Pole chap, or whatever he's called, was an idiot.

Oh yeah, Richard was a much better presenter than the other person. Haha, I loved it when he started playing the harmonica very loudly in a frantic situation to make it even worse.

    I agree with that.

I must admit I did lose a little interest once he'd left. I still watched but completely ignored Ed.

Richard was the king of the Crystals. Just the things he said, the way he was witht he contestants, the harmonica playing, talking to mumsie and the computer etc. No-one would compare to him.
