Physics A-level is ****. Physics on the other hand is quite fun :awesome:

Sidenote: I'm having a massive geometry fail; I can't prove that \pi is constant, or in other words, every circle has an equal ratio between it's diameter and it's circumference, or in other words, the laws of similar shapes. :sigh:
err..why would you want to prove that?:p:

For the sake of proving it :dontknow: it's a pretty important piece of mathematics and I want to see why it's true, given I've lived for now seven years or so just accepting it.

edit: I misworded what I wanted to prove. What I want to prove is that all circles are similar, without using the fact that the area is \pi r^2 or the circumference is \pi d. :dontknow:

Who, me and John Locke? If John Locke wants to, he can. I'm not really bothered that much about the matter.

lol I spose. probably why you want to do maths at uni :yep:

I used to question things like that but there are so many things that I've learnt to accept them for the sake of getting an A in A level maths and be done with it :p:

Yeah that's understandable. There are lots of questionable things in A-level maths, that proof of them is just a little too complicated, or sometimes vastly too complicated, for almost every student to try to get to grips with. It's nice if you can understand where things come from though :yep:

I think I might have had a mini breakthrough. :holmes:
