    Well, it does mean that in maths exams (obvs not C1!) you can get the calculator to draw the graphs for you and copy them, etc, which does come in rather helpful sometimes. (And like if you want to check you've done points where graphs cross etc, you can go along the curve to find out the value. Same for min/max points...)
    Also it solves equations, but I think maybe they all do that?

    I loveeess it. And it does very clever stuff in stats whereby you can just shove the numbers into formulas on the calc and it does it.

    Although you have to be careful, cos there is one type that's banned...

    Just look at any past paper for your board, and it should say on the front. Essentially those that can do algebraic calculus, and such. Numerical calculus is allowed though.

    I was too poor to afford a graphical calculator, had to rely on the old noodle and a pencil for graphs .

    Im too non-gifted to be able to use a graphical calculator...we have one at school...I couldn't get it to do anything
