On Facebook, search "IOT 18", you'll find a large group of 80+ people all on the same course, lots of whom will also be on the same FV.

    Hi,

To those of you on IOT 18, how long was it since your OASC's? I had mine In May but still havn't had an answer. Is it normal to be waiting this long?

    Cheers and good luck!

My OASC was January, I found about about 3 weeks later.

It's certainly not unheard of to be waiting 'this long'. It's the busiest time of the year for OASC, so just keep waiting. Does sound like you're "in the sift", little bit of patience goes a long way.

I had my OASC in February, and it was also about 3 weeks till I got a letter. As Drewski has said, the wait can depend on alot of things, it might just be a very busy period atm.

I went in march and not one of the candidates on my selection got a letter within 10 weeks, reason was unknown. Giving them a call is acceptable if you are getting too anxious.

If you have questions, just post them on the forum. Or, even better, search, they'll have been answered elsewhere previously.
