Student discount and Orange wednesdays made it worth it. Otherwise not.

No, I watched it yesterday it was really not as great as evry1 was making it out to be. There were only about two really funny bits, no real storyline and tooo graphic for words....

Absolutely hilarious film - how can you even question going to see it - just see it asap! Funnier than Borat in my opinion, because Sacha exploiting American homophobia is funnier than exploiting their xyneophobia. There is not a minute of the film that goes by without laughing, it's utter genius; the film is a lot more shocking and crude than Borat, but is still similar in that it shows an ignorant, yet somewhat innocent man showing the absurdity of 'normal' people, and how we are no different to that flamboyant gay man or that Kazakhstani reporter who 'hate ze jew'.

I think it's better than Borat, but it has a lot more sexual scenes in it, some quite gruesome! But that's what makes it so funny....

it was pretty damn hilarious at moments. i wasn't quite prepared for the vulgarity of it, but if you can take extended periods of male full frontal nudity, you should be okay. some of the one-liners in the film are lmao-worthy. people were cracking up in the cinema. One young black woman left though, soon after the scene featuring African Americans, and I couldn't tell if it was because she was offended by that or the film in general. If she was offended by the 'racial' scenes, she read the film totally wrong. [I realise the last part wasn't relevant, but at the time I thought someone walking out of the film was pretty funny.]

I though it was a good film, but nothing compared to Borat. Borat was able to go across the whole strata of society, and the story line was stronger. With Bruno he was outed pretty early in the fashion industry, so he pretty much spends the rest of the film pissing off red necks who obviously don't like gays. It's good to see how far any one man can take it though.

I saw it 2 days ago and if I had paid to see it I would be a bit pissed off... It was funny, yeah in his usual way but it made no sense really - and I know that wasn't the aim of the film but still, I thought it was a bit crap and as I said before it came out totally overhyped. Kinda stupid.
