It is funny in a shocking way as opposed to being genuinely witty, but it is entertaining.

If you like to see Sasha Baren Cohen doing a penis dance for around half a minute, then yes.

But the rest of the film was hilariously funny

Just got back from seeing Bruno. It was well worth the sneaking around we had to do to get in, though we needn't had bothered, the people issuing the tickets didn't even look at our faces!

    SPOILERS BELOW....

    Spoiler:
    Show
I laughed all the way through. Well apart from the weird first 10 minutes *cringes*
I thought the ghost bit (you guys know what I'm talking about lol) was one of the best bits as well as the stripper whipping Bruno.
But I thought it was a bit *too* much like Borat plot wise, and the bit at the end in the wrestling arena made me fear for Sacha Baron Cohen's life!

Crap. Only go and see this if you're a fan of gay porn. Basically no laughs, sloppily put together, repitition, cliched jokes that no one laughed at that have been done time and time again. The fact that there was only about another 8 people in the cinema watching it with me and my boyfriend said it all, and 4 of them walked out, bored half way through. Can't believe I spent £5 on this, what a load of ****.

As you may have guessed from the title, is it worth watching?
It's a movie that tries to make you laugh by it being shocking. It's alright, shock humour doesn't really shock me but there are still some funnies in it.

I'd love to have been there during filming to see him give the imaginary guy a blowjob.

It was funny in parts, seemed to be staged (you would have thought) in many parts.

Sure, it's funny and ****ing hilarious at times, but it's a bit one-dimensional. Throughout, it's about sexuality, homsexuality, being camp etc...

it's an onslaught of the aforementioned and it gets a bit errr, tedious in this sense. Give me Dumb & Dumber or The Hangover anyday of the week...

I also think Borat is better than Bruno. Maybe I'll appreciate Bruno that bit more once I've watched it once more, as you do go in with high expectations...

rofl my dad was going to come along along with myself and my younger brother.

Yeah, it would have felt a bit to watch that with your dad. At least he got the chance to see Borat today, on dvd. And I liked it.

I mistakingly went with my mum and I didn't even realise it was an 18 haha. I expected it to amusing like borat but most of it was crude.. lots of sex. A real (I expect) swingers party where people are getting it on in parts of it. I always thought it was a little cringe worthy when watching films with sex scenes with my mum and that's acted, not real like in Bruno! Personally I would only see it if there's nothing better on in the cinema.
