Yeah - you're right! What happens is that, in the current spec (I haven't checked the new spec for this, it takes so damn long to work through the nonsense, I cba xD) a teacher can choose ONE unit, amongst many, from TWO modules.(Original post by gozatron)
I'm not too sure, i think Edexcel offer an RS GCSE without Christianity because I have a jewish mate who is doing Judiasm/Islam on Edexcel maybe it snot the same spec.
So, for example, Module 1 has units like - Religion and life based on a study of Christianity and one other religion/study of Christianity/study of Catholicism/SO Judaism/SO Islam, etc.
Module 2, like - Religion and society based on Christianity and 1 other religion/just Christianity/just Catholicism/just Judaism, etc.
Sounds like your friend has a really good set up...!
