How is the course and department in general for physics at UCL? For physics it's not really ranked that high (20th in England) and the specified requirements are surprisingly low (this year was ABB-BBB) and next year it's AAB-ABB) which compared to all the rest of UCL courses (many being at A*AA) they are quite low.

Is it really competative to get in? Will AAB be good enough, I know it fits the requirements but apparently UCL's specified requirements are always ambiguous and I've heard they end up giving offers much higher than stated in the prospectus.

    Thanks.
