    Well im guessing you want to get out of the relationship? As if you are going to play games with someone in an attempt for you to get over him, i think its better that you call it quits now save his feelings for getting in a worse state and then go about it the usual way of just getting over him.

    As for getting over someone its different for everyone, i think time apart is the best thing.
