1. PCl5 <---> PCl3 + Cl2

1.68 moles of PCl5 mixed with 0.36 moles PCl3 in a container of volume 2 DM^3. 1.44 moles PCl5 remained at equilibirum.

What is Equilibrium constant?

4. Okay so we start with moles:

PCl5 = 1.68
PCl3 = 0.36
Cl2 = 0

At equilibrium:

PCl5 = 1.44
PCl3 = 0.36 + (1.68-1.44) = 0.6
Cl2 = (1.68-1.44) = 0.24

Using the volume of 2 dm3 input these values into the expression for Kc = [PCl3][Cl2]/[PCl5]
