Hi, I am applying for Masters in either Finance or Management (for 2010/11) and therefore I need to take the GMAT test. I was wondering how long I should prepare for. Is one month or one month and a half too little? And do you know exactly when GMAT tests are hold (how many times a year)? On their website it says that I will find out once I "schedule my GMAT appointment" and I'm not sure what that means. Pls help!

You will have to do a free GMAT test from mba.com to ascertain your level. Then it depends on what score are you gunning for. If you want a 50 point increase, 1 month of preparation might be enough.

P.S. The best books for the GMAT are the official ones which contain past questions with great explanations.
