I am an incoming second year at Balliol, and I was wondering what opportunities there were for undergraduate historians to write articles or essays about their subject that could be published in some sort of termly journal or magazine. Apart from the History society journal, there must be other more general journals of the university? Additionally, I would also be interested in what other interesting publications Oxford students can write for, apart from OxStu, Cherwell, and the Alligator Online.

The Oxford Review's the graduate magazine, but I think there are a couple of obscure undergrad ones kicking around; failing that, set up your own!
The alligator isn't published on paper copies, but get in touch with them if you're interested in sorting that out too?

How are you an incoming second year?
