if it's doing the opposite, why are so many girls horny on their period? surely it should be the opposite from a biological/evolutionary point of view?
It is generally the idea that girls are not at all horny on their periods. Sorry if your porn of choice has lied to you on that point.

We can tend to get horny during the very last day or two of our periods. That makes perfect sense as it would be approaching the time when we'd release a new egg, and in theory there would start to be a small chance of us getting pregnant due to how long sperm can potentially survive in the uterus. Or maybe it's just so we're back in the mood for the days after we've properly stopped our periods, when the chances would really start improving. Not that that is necessarily how it works in practice.

I'm a girl, but I find the idea of period sex a massive turn on.

What do y'all think about this?
Did anyone hear about the top Petra Collins designed for American Apparel?
It's a simple line drawing of a natural thing but there's been quite an uproar about it in places.

No, I think it's really cool, was just reminded of it when I saw this thread and wondered what other people's opinions are?

I'm yet to wear it out, but I just wear it to bed and tot around the house in it. It was a great gift, with a great back story, so I love it :L I don't see the problem of why everyone is reacting so negatively. I see so many mens tops with just topless women in like topshop and river island and its so tasteless. They don't have a problem with a woman with big breasts, but they have an issue with a thing that about nearly every single woman goes through! Baffles me!

Don't want to know or hear about it. Girls should inform us somehow when they're on their periods
    ...right...

Just noticed this post is four years old. Oops. What happened to this thread?

I don't see what the huge problem about it is? It's blood...

Yes I wouldn't particularly love to hear about it over dinner, or if we're about to have sex but no more so that I would dislike to talk about taking a crap over dinner or the biological intricacies of ejaculation.
It's no dirtier really when you think about it, than guys. We pee and shake but there's still a little bit of urine there and that gets absorbed by our boxers and sits there all day, combine that with multiple piss sessions and a hot sweaty day... Now THAT's dirty.

It's all a natural biological process... nothing special so just man up... you don't have to actually deal with it, just know that it's happening. I'm sure girls would happily swap with us.

I think causing an uproar about it is a bit much... bit I really don't see the need for it. I'm not particularly put of by periods... it's just blood it happens big deal etc etc... but do you really need to have it on a t-shirt?
I just can't see the need for it. It's not exactly advancing female values is it? And I don't care what anyone says it's a period is not an attractive thing... not to say that it disgusts me or anything but really... on a t shirt? please explain why.

But every girl in this thread apart from you has said that period sex is gross or at best they neither found it a turn-on or turn-off. You are saying it's a major turn-on which is totally different to every girl in this thread.

As well as that, you find kissing a hot girl 'totally repulsive' but many girls would be fine with it or even be turned on.

I don't understand your preferences tbh.

It's fairly normal according to Ronove (that girls are more horny on their periods)
