    Hi guys!

I'm Dez, the new Vice President Communications of Coventry Uni Students Union (CUSU) & just wanted to say hi and welcome to those of you who'll be coming to Cov in September.

At the minute we're busy planning events for the year, including Freshers' Week which we're all very excited about, but if you have any questions we're never too busy to answer them.

The best way to get in contact with us is through our website; http://www.cusu.org or our official Facebook group; http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/g...8788613&ref=ts

On the subject of the Facebook group, that link is to the ONLY official one! There's loads of other groups, but as I manage that one it will be the first place where times and dates of events are announced, so check it out!

Looking on this site there's loads of unfounded criticism about Cov, but don't let that put you off.

If you do have any concerns, get in touch and we'll be more than happy to help.

Until then, I hope you're all well & looking forward to coming to Cov; you're gonna have an awesome 3 years. :woo:

    Dez.

    Paxter; in what capacity?

As a student, you're automatically a member. This means you can vote in our annual general meeting, run for election for various places, join any societies (including sports) and loads more.

You don't have any 'responsibilities' as a 'normal' member.

Sorry Dez if I'm stealing your thunder :p:
