So yeah, Fresher's flu this year is going to be one hell of a *****. Along with the usual incapacitating array of foreign viruses that will be invading every pore of your body, we also get swine flu to add a little kick to the whole thing.

So come one, come all, share your worries, stories and and remedies with the general populace. To kick it off, the best advice I've heard is to basically be pretty liberal with your multi-vitamins.

I think I can easily protect myself from that by wearing a mask to every single party. Or a balaclava.

I had it at the end of April this year, rather (in)convenient for exams.

Haha I actually look forward to it :P Yes yes sounds incredibly weird to actually WANT to be ill.
However, I haven't been ill in ages and my immune system seems pretty good at the moment.
So I'll just take vitamin C, some paracetamol and just carry on as usual.
I know someone who was a fresher this year and said it isnt too bad

I ended up being in hospital and on anti-biotics for the first time in my life. I did have an underlying condition I wasn't aware of though. So, err, no.

I can't say I'm looking forward to it, but it's a fact of life that I'll have to get used to at some point if I intend on going to uni. Hopefully I won't get anything too horrible... I can cope with coughs and sniffles, but projectile vomiting and severe diarrhoea are things I'd rather avoid.
