If this is your first time at university i'd say living in campus accommodation is essential, the friends you make and the fun you have will amaze you. You will find noisy and untidy people everywhere and private accommodation is no guarentee to find tidier or quiet people and you're more likely to be stuck with them, whereas with traditional halls if you don't get one with someone its a lot easier to stay away from them.

There will be at least one noisy and untidy person in every flat. It's all part of the atmosphere and Uni life but being kept awake by drunks can be very annoying.

Trust me, you need to be on campus your first year or you end up as somewhat of a social outcast for the remaining years of your course.

If you're concerned about untidy people and so on, live on the De Havilland campus which has rooms with its own showers. Plus the security is better than college lane.

It will cost you £96 a week though (inc bills).

I'm an incredibly messy and noisy person, who lives in privately rented accomodation, and annoys the hell out of my housemates.

Just live on campus, it's much easier.

I think she wanted some hot guys to offer her their bed for *fun* and everyone suggested halls, where she can probably get more guys, but oh well
