Has anyone with grade B at gcse science doing medicine?

Because i'm really weak at physics and i think that's going to drop my grade down to a B

So by getting a BB in science does it knock off my chances of doing medicine in the future, btw i don't want to go to KCL or Birmingham as i know they require 7A*'s +.

So anyone with BB at gcse science got into medicine?

surely A levels in biology and chemistry and two other strong subjects + BMAT/UKCAT will override the BB in gcse, nothing you can do about gcse if you've done them, if you haven't then it's time to put loads of work in
    good luck

don't worry yourself until results day. everybody underestimates themselves, you will do fine! what a lot of unis do is list your results from best-worst and take the top 7 results anyway, so provided that's not your top grade you will be ok!

i think like other people said, ukcat/bmat/a levels/PS/reference will over ride that. the only risk is that if it's a close call between two candidates, you COULD lose out to a student with AA or A*A* in science.

don't worry, enjoy summer until results day THEN think about it.

yesss and OP, even if it was to close your route to a medical degree post-sixth form you could always take a chemistry/biology/biochem/whatever degree and do medicine postgrad.

    but seriously you're 15/16, i didn't give a thought to my degree choice until i was ~17!

People have neglected to mention physics isnt realy needed anyway. Just get yourself a decent revision guide if your worried.
