You won't get the trophy that way...
I did on Hard. I swapped to the shotgun a few times. :holmes:

    Edit:
You have to go through without it, on first play through.

Think I'll play through BS2 on Normal difficulty first...I'm getting raped on Hard on the first
My only play through Bioshock was on hard and at first it was very difficult, but once you level up a bit and get a few reserves of EVE and medkits it's not too bad.

I hope they've come up with a better life system on the new one, the fact that you could resume your game from the exact point at which you died was one of the only annoyances of the first one.

It gets easier as you go on. A tip for Big Daddies: Security Bullseye + camera = dead Big Daddy :yep:

Ah true. S'pose I can start on hard, and if it is too difficult drop down.

Ah you edited before I finished replying :p:
I haven't got as far as getting security bullseye yet, I'm only near the beginning of Neptune's Bounty.

Guys, Uncharted 1 on Crushing can't be that hard, you get to choose your guns in Rewards right? :holmes:

Quite a bit of that ended up being true, though no Heavy Rain demo this time round, unfortunately (not that I expected to see it).

    ‘Heads-Up’ PlayStation Store Update (4th February 2010)
    Final Fantasy VIII…
…sorry, did I need to say anymore than that this week?

Ahem. We’ve got a real mixed bag of content this week, starting with a new batch of special offers, including our first ever promotion for some of our minis titles. These feature some of our best-selling minis, and help us to kick off minis month with a little bit of style. We’ll also be celebrating with another batch of reduced minis titles in a couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for those too.

We have two demos for the highly anticipated titles Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Aliens vs. Predator; I feel we’re servicing our shooter fans especially well this week.

Throw in a couple of new minis titles, lots of game add-ons and a sprinkling of videos and you get this week’s helping of PSN goodness. Om nom nom, how do you like them ap…titles.

As usual, I’ll be lurking in the comments section so leave me a comment.
    Have a good week.

i always try games on hard difficulty first. because i think it adds a lot more tension suspense or thrill etc etc to the gameplay and story. it can make me feel more vunerable and makes me feel more rewarded once i get past something hard.

however.... there have been a few times when hard has been too hard and i had to knock it down a difficulty. uncharted 1 on hard being one of them. as well as restiance 2 ( i have never cursed at a game so much in my life)

p.s. (except when i get 'noob tubed' in mw2)

I thought people said it was good?!

Controls are awful, objectives are extremely vague, and overall it just seems pretentious. :huff:

I liked it, it's different and relaxing, kind of spacey. It's good that Sony take a chance on these sorts of things, Microsoft wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
