Omg somethings wrong with my PS3 :woo:

Basically, I keep getting the error 8001050F, and it happened when I fired up AC2 this morning...After I pressed Start to continue, it started to load and then it says somthing like the trophys could not be registered, the game will quit..wtf

Also, it happens with any full PSN game [same error cde] but the demos work...check my trophy list and AC2 has disappeared

It doesn;t let me sign in to PSN either and gives me the same error code...i've tried my UK and US PSNs but still no differnce...Adice anyone?

    edit: O

The 'error: 8001050f' message is thought to be related to the a calendar reset on February 28, when the original PS3 systems were reset to January 1, 2000

Damn, shame the trophy system or games don't work, i could get a trophy on January 1, 2000 & people will think i can time travel like Marty & The Doctor (Doc Brown & Dr Who).

Better be able to fix this with software for our and Sony's sake as it will take a long time to fix all the PS3's and maybe kill Sony doing it. Oh well aleast the blu ray player works.

All it will take is a software update to rectify the problem.

I doubt they would need to do a Microsoft & replace all the affected phatty's.

Give it a few hours or at least till tomorrow & it'll be fixed... (hopefully..)

Also, when this problem hits the newspapers (which it will, if not fixed today), Sony will then pull their fingers out & panic.
