I went off the idea of FFXIII when i read a lot of reviews that said "It doesn't really get good until about 30 hours in" way to long for me to be bothered! It needs to be good within 10 minutes, or i loose interest!

I think a few of those games were already at knock-down prices at some retailers (Dead Space for example), but were not officially "platinum".

The only game in that list that appeals to me and that I don't already own is the God of War Collection.
All of the first-party games there except for the GoW collection are definitely out in platinum already...

Quite a while ago - over six months for some of them

Wow, dunno why it's taken so long for it to become platinum in America!

I think it's only good after 30 hours because that is the point you enter a coma.

FF13 is an automated game. That's just the way I see it. Runnning along a dungeon for 5-10 minutes is very very tiring.

30 hours in is when it gets awesome, it gets good way before that.

I didn't mind so much the lack of towns in the end, but it would have been nice to have more open areas and get rid of the silly party leader death = game over bit.

I rate the game high, even though I went into it expecting the worst. But I also went into XII expecting the worst. My top two single player FF games are VII and XII. It's a close call for third between XIII and VIII.

XIII certainly has the best story of any FF game I've played since VII. The only downside is the gameplay, it's lacking in some areas, which is why I rate XII above it. I can't decide yet whether VIII is better or not.

I never claimed to actually be any good at Bioshock 2 multiplayer! :p: 10% of the way to level 40 (and a platinum)... I think I'll probably have had enough before I get that far... :ninja:
Hopefully I'll find FFXIII, Heavy Rain, or possibly even Darksiders at a cheap enough price to convince me to pick at least one of them up shortly.

Good to see - though I've already got everything from that list that I'm interested in. Actually, aren't several of those already out in Platinum versions in the UK?
Personally, I wouldn't recommend Darksiders...It's a good game but not worth the time imo..

There were no dungeons in FFXIII.

Yep, really didn't like Darksiders. Though I do want to just complete eventually though as I must have gone quite far into it.

Probably because everyones xbox is broke, no, im not bitter.:shifty:

Anyway. i traded in GOW3, pretty funny, i was getting a bit bored of it by the end if im honest. I got Just Cause2, not played a great deal, just been dicking about on it really, seeing what i can do, which is fun. Not done too much of the story, the map seems huge though, hopefully its not to lengthy, because i have too much work to do!

No srs. I've never been a fan of non human shooters, which is why I avoid games like Bioshock and Fallout. In the odd occasion, I might be able to play it.

I'm not entirely sure what it is, just give me the creeps - I don't like it.

Uncharted was fine however, basically as long the enemy isn't non-human then I'd give it a go.

They ARE human in Bioshock, just gone wrong!

Playing bioshock is probably the only game i have atm which really can creep me out, i get twicthy playing it, just because i know bits will make me jump, im such a jumpy person as it is. Its not good for my heart i thinks.

I haven't played the PS3 in too long. FM10 is the only thing which interests me atm gaming wise!

Got so many games to complete, bought Infamous on release day, played it for 6 hours or so and haven't played it since...

Resistance 2, I have played for like 15 mins since getting it (present)... Killzone 2 have only played for a couple of hours... plus a few more games!!!

Although I'm feeling some PS3 action tonight so might well get into a game again.

Im officially bored of Just Cause two, been playing it 3 hours. Most of the time just traveling from A-B, the grapple hook is cool, i cant see me keeping it much longer unless the story picks up, which I've heard isn't brilliant.
