    Just reached chapter 9 in FFXIII. Think I've done five chapters today. Not sure how much more I'm going to get to play before I go back to Valencia on Friday.
    Well it takes about 60 hours to complete the main story, so if you don't sleep between now and when you leave, it might still be possible to complete it! :p:

    Uh oh. I'm downloading it right now! :nooo:

    The update gets the PS3 ready for 3D apparently:

    Devs for GT5 only just starting to put the Top Gear track into the game:

    I don't have a solution for it, it's still not working. Works OK if I plug in the cable, but I want my freedom.

    You're not the only one having problems:

    I've cancelled my download now. Don't really need access to PSN at this precise moment anyway.

    If you turn on your PS3, it should tell you to download it. I always download via my PS3.

    i dont see how such software updates can break key functionality

    anyone who works in software or understands it can appreciate that you test test and test

    what a fail to see is how something like this goes un noticed - its not the first time people have had problems with ps3 updates either

    :fyi: I have a solution to the PS3 controller not connecting pronlem...

    If you just keep your controller plugged in for say ~10mins, unplug it and it should re-connect itself. Works for me. I can turn on/off my console using the controller now. :yeah:

    10MB or 1.25Mb/s. Took 5 minutes at most to download, and another ~3mins to install.

    If you meant 1Mb/s(megabit) then that's not that much slower than mine.

    If you meant 1MB(megabyte), then that's slow... 125Kb/s.

    1 byte = 8 bits
    1B = 8b

    About 20-25 hours, depending on how long you take to play through the first time.
