Xbox's Project Natal has now been officially renamed "Kinect". :tumble:

Standard video of perfect "families" with huge houses playing Kinect:

    http://kotaku.com/5562557/see-kinect...-fake-families

The only part that looked good was the hand movement controlling the fast forward function. But what happens if a friend walks in and you wave at them only for Kinect to fast forward the movie you're watching?!

A few Wii-esque games announced for the Kinect too:

Thoughts (from an unbiased perspective)?! :awesome: :p:

It looks like a Wii with slightly better graphics and no controllers. I hope the Playstation version isn't that bad.

I think that you'll look stupid playing any motion sensing game, no matter what console it's on. Some more than others of course, and the Kinect is not doing itself any favours. Highly unlikely that I'll be getting the PS Move too.

I'm stick to normal games tyvm!

I am unbiased because I love my ps3 and my 360 but I think both Move and Natal are retarded.

Move will be able to be applied easier as the wand thing can be a sword, gun, whatever. Natal will tire quickly as anything other than racing and boxing will probably be too complex.

I'm disappointed that this has happened. Hopefully 'regular' games will still come out.

Why do they bother with this? To get more casual gamers to buy their products?
(kinda answered my own question there)

I thought eye toy was a load of turd and a bit of a gimmick, I hope this stuff bombs because maybe then they won't waste time on it

and 3d gaming ugh I hope that one never lifts off.

The new sonic game looks good also, but I dislike the way they're going to release it in parts :dontknow:

I got a huge back log of games that I need to play soon. I bought Uncharted 2 three weeks ago but haven't played it since due to exams :eyeball: . Also need to get Red Dead

I don't get what all the fuss about finger prints is for. I have gloss black PS3, computer, monitor and there are no finger prints... most of the dust in southern England seems to be attracted to it though

But how is everyone's PS3 attracting finger prints? Are you all stroking them? I don't even touch the PS3 unless I want to change the disc...
