well its a used mini cooper but when i bought it it didn't have a dent in the rear bonnet cover. i know i didn't hit anything when i parked it because i would have felt it and its in a place where a hit from behind wouldn't make that sort of dent (im assuming, im a pretty careful driver),

anyway the rear fog light is broken and there's a dent next to it.

im not so much worried about the back light as thats easily replaceable, but is it possible to *pop* back the dent on the rear bumper cover?? the rear bumper is made out of plastic, if not then im going to have to get the back replaced

does anyone know where i can buy a rear bumper?
this is what im talking about

i need the middle one but id prefer it if i didnt have to get it from america!

does anyone know how to take the rear bonnet cover off anyway? i know it clips on and off but thats about it

Have you tried your local scrappies? You don't specify whether it's a big (new) mini or an older model. Hopefully some mini's suitable will be at a scrappy.

Rear bonnet? I'm sorry but I'm not quite sure where that part of the car is...

    Do you mean the boot?

    Sorry, playing with ya :p:

Yes, it should pop out. You should be able to get up behind from underneath and press it out with your fingers. If not then the bumper should come off relatively easily. Once off, whip out the fog light and persuade/hammer the dent out. You might need to touch it up with a lick of paint afterwards or you could just leave as is. It's a plastic bumper so leaving any chipped paint obviously wont result in rust.
