    Hello everyone.

I didn't apply for King's and I really regret it! I was thinking about trying to get in with clearing if I don't make it to my firm.
Is it likely to subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Maths + Computer science to be available?

And am I in disadvantage because I'm European (like I'm not international nor UK..)? Anyone got into king's through clearing? Can you share your experience? Thank you.

My current grades in a scale from 0 to 20:
    Average (10 subjects): 18
    with:
    Maths 20/19
    Physics 19
    Biology 19/18

The entry requirements for my qualifications listed on the website are 18 overall with high grade in maths/physics.
    Will these get much higher?

And yet another question. In terms of teaching, which is better? Kings or Univ of Edinburgh (my insurance)?

Not computer science but possibly maths or physics, you'll have to try although this year the number of applicants were underestimated so i'd be doubtful of any places unless many people absolutely failed to meet their offers.

    thank you
yeah I've been reading about that but i just heard the gov gave money to 10 000 places (according to timesonline?)
    does this change anything?
is this the 1st time this is happening (few places) or is this cyclical?

Yeah they had to, last year was something along the lines of 44,000 spots in clearing. This year it was estimated to be barely 20,000 so that's a huge drop. 24,000+ people not getting a spot would be a pretty big loss but I'd consider myself extremely lucky if I could get a spot at kings in this disaster, even more so for an awesome subject like physics ;D
