Mum's booked us all haircuts for before we go on holiday, and I've decided to go a bit different for once. I've spent the majority of my life with the same long boring hair, and I don't want to go tooooo drastic or my dad'll throw a hissing fit :p:

Picture of me just now on webcam: http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1247874067

My hair is naturally staight (I've never owned straighteners in my life) and incredibly stubborn (which can make gymnastics hellish, "a competition regulation bun" if you will, stays in for about half an hour before collapsing). I've tried curling it a few times but by the time I finish where I started is practically normal again :o: It's also incredibly thick, everybody who's ever touched it has commented on this.

I was thinking on getting it a bit longer than shoulder length, but with a side fringe, something maybe like these:

But I'm in no way an expert and have no idea what will look good, any suggestions? Thanks very much

Your pretty! Yeh I do think you should cut your hair. I had long hair like yours for years and never wanted to cut it, but my hair dresser told me that having it so long made me look younger than I was (in a bad way) so I got it cut an inch or so below my shoulders with lots of layers and a side fringe and now i love it. it's so much easier to manage! You'd look good with layers as you dont have to strighten your hair to show them off. I'd definately say go shorter by a bit if your feeling brave, it would suit you.

I think this would really suit you

If you want it a bit longer, just ask hair dresser for it longer and show her/him where you want it cut but the length on that is nice I think

You're really pretty. They'd all suit you , but I think the second picture down will suit you the most . That's from a boys perspective , but it's about what you like .

Jennifer Aniston's hair in that picture looks really good - I think a side fringe like that would suit you a lot.
