    Have you been affected by this disruption in the optical cable to West Africa? Heard 70% of Nigeria's international communication lines were disrupted (internet, phones, etc.)

    See the thing is, we're not aware of the location differences here, so we're sitting there going wow they're risking their lives reporting this and are none the wiser!

    Glad to know everything's fine where you are though, and good news on the cable front, still sounds quite a chaotic place to be trying to business, but I guess that's why it's an emerging market.

    Nigeria is a 'frontier emerging market'. Not an emerging market yet, still has to do some maturing. Loads of probs in Nigeria, firstly they need to sort out this margin trading/lending issue which has caused the stock bubble and volatility on the NSE.
