    Hi,

Could someone please recommend some good text books for Public Law, and Property, Equity & Trusts? I'm starting these modules in September and want to get a head start on the topics. I would especially like some recommendations from those of you studying at Oxbridge, Durham, KCL etc, books that were on your reading lists for these modules.

    Thanks

Property - "Modern Land Law" by Dixon. "Property Law" by Smith.
You will find Gray & Gray "Elements of Land Law" on your reading list. Use it for reference only.

Equity - "The Law of Trusts", Core Text Series, Penner. "The Law of Trusts and Equitable Remedies", Hayton and Marshall. Alastair Hudson's books.
Parker and Mellows on Trusts will also be on your list. A book you should only use when you really understand trusts. It is more of a practitioner book, very misleading for an undergrad.
