I heard that the computer facilities are Keele are inadequate. As I will be studying Medicine in the near September, would it be helpful for me to buy a laptop (I don't have one yet) or use the uni computers?

Also, any advice for me from those who study Medicine at Keele?

I wouldn't say the computer facilities are inadequate but you do have to pick the right time to try and get one and there are more computers down stairs in the library too.

I'm not a medic but it is very useful to have your own laptop, what ever course you do, considering at the moment the library is not open 24 hours. You don't need anything fancy and expensive mind, maybe a basic Dell with Microsoft office. Hope this helps a bit :o:
