Just out of interest, can int'l students acquire loans from banks to fund their tuition fees?

Also, are we supposed to set up a bank account? If yes, for what? I know that that is the case for maintenance fees but is it just used a proof of my financial status?

How do I pay my tuition fees.....

    Thanks!
