    For my pill, it's 99% effective, from a study where 100 couples used it for 2 years, and only one got pregnant. It's based off studies. And it's the number of people, not the number of times you have sex. Otherwise having sex once a week, from that EVERYONE would get pregnant in a year, which obviously isn't so. You really don't need to worry that much.

    Wow. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Do any of you personally worry about pregnancy when using 99% effective contraception?

    Hell yes. You can't help worrying about your life ending but you just have to accept it's one of those minor possibilities and try and move on.
