I am 26 years old and have never been to University. I am now considering doing an online degree, with Kaplan Open Learning alongside my job. It is a part time course BA Business and Management(Hons.)

I am doing this to improve my future job prospects, and earning potential.

It is awarded by the University of Essex and they said you don't have to tell any future employer you did it online.

Further on the certificate it will not say Online, nor say anything about Kaplan.

Has anyone heard of them, or has anyone done/doing an online degree with them? [URL="http://www.kaplanopenlearning.org.uk/"URL]

Is it actually worth doing? Any downsides?
