ok so most boys get them and my question is how to make them less obvious?
getting rid of it altogether is a better option...tbh, just rub it out while washing up in the morning so you have less chances of it coming back

Testosterone builds up in the body during the night.
Is that wild guess or do you have some evidence, or something?

I don't. I just get up with a hard on. It's not bad your mum knowing you have a hard on , as she knows that men get hard ons when they wake up. It's more my sister seeing it as we share a bedroom

you girls are so lucky, you dont have to worry about this
If it makes you feel better, starting your period in the night or in the morning before you get up is pretty horrible, especially if you're staying at someone else's house

I know a worse period story - a girl had it in school but some how it flowed out (I dont know how), she had been really horrible to us so we had afew laughs at that

What do you mean, somehow it flowed out? That's what a period is

A guy I know once said to a friend of mine, "wouldn't it be weird/funny if you were just walking along the street and you came on?" She said, "Errr, that's exactly what happens." He was really shocked! God knows what he thought it was like ...
