    Basically I am keen to do either Medicine or Sports Science at university...however I am currently doing English, French, PE and Applied Science as A levels.

    I was just wondering whether I should carry on doing Applied Science at A2 or whether I should consider doing AS Human Biology or AS Chemistry next year if I do well in my exams?

    And yes I have asked this question before but no one replied :confused:

    I know.. Why don't you make another thread.

    You won't really be able to study 5yr medicine without having Chemistry at A-level. You'd be looking more at the 6yr courses that include premed. These are generally for students without sciencey a-levels, so I'm not sure if having bio/chem AS level would complicate things. You need to look at some entry requirements.

    Secondly, you need to decide which one you want to study. If you want to do medicine, you need to get your ass in gear and get some good work experience. You won't be able to make an informed application without doing so.

    Thanks dudes and apologies for the 'Wow!'...i'm slightly impatient. Also someone told me Applied Science could be counted for courses such as Medicine but I find that hard to believe...?

    Sad but true I suppose...but will doing AS Human Biology next year aid me in any way towards doing Sports Science at Uni or should I just continue doing A2 Applied Science?
